The Savannah Georgia raised trombonist and composer, Andrae Murchison represents home and shares a musical reflection on biblical text. His newest EP entitled HOUSE OF HUMILITY, Vol.1 & 2 engages negro spirituals and honors the sacrifices of his ancestors. His music is inspired by early gospel music, Duke Ellington, Curtis Fuller, The Skatalites, Donald Byrd, Roy Hargrove, Abdullah Ibrahim, and Olu Dara. This music is an original blend of jazz and prophecy that speaks of the heart and imagines a new era of spiritual enlightenment and musical devotion.
